To test if this is affecting you, you can install the mod SkyrimSouls (which makes the game not pause when you open menus that would normally pause the game) and see if your framerate increases (framerate must already be below 60 FPS for it to increase, of course). I love HDT physics, but it's not with decreasing my framerate by as much as 3x, so I'm unfortunately not going to be using it anymore. Illustrious HDT Cloaks of Skyrim is an immersion mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that allows one to upgrade the cloaks added by the mod Cloaks of Skyrim to cloaks to which the HDT Physics Extensions apply. This was making my game nearly unplayable, even with a GTX 1080, but disabling HDT Physics Extensions made my framerate shoot straight up to 60 FPS. Well, I decided to try a rather naughty mod because I was rather curious and so Sofia and I committed and I noticed during the act that my characters bosom started glitching like crazy. I need your help: I love tbbp and it was working great for me. Sorry if this is obvious to some people, but having HDT Physics Extensions installed appears to completely destroy performance, even if no HDT mods are installed.
